“This was one of the better seminars I have attended. The speakers were all very well qualified and well prepared. They were also very accessible and helpful in responding to questions. An excellent program I would recommend to any attorney.”

“The panelists were well versed in appellate law – it’s always nice to learn helpful hints in addition to the rules of court.”
All civil litigation stands in the shadow of appellate review, but most litigators never step foot into the world of appeals. An understanding of the appellate process will help you plan for the possibility of interlocutory or post-judgment review, and will allow you to more effectively seek or respond to appellate court proceedings. Join a panel of certified appellate law specialists in this introduction to civil appeals and writs in the state and federal courts. Learn how appellate advocacy can start with the drafting of the initial complaint or petition, and doesn’t end even after the Court of Appeal has spoken.
